Position Overview:

Join our dynamic engineering team as a Backend Engineering Intern, where you’ll play a crucial role in developing the backbone of our distributed AI infrastructure. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to work on systems that manage AI workloads, orchestration, and monitoring, contributing directly to the efficiency and scalability of our platforms.

What you’ll do:

• Develop: Design and implement backend services and APIs that facilitate the management of AI workloads, ensuring high performance and reliability.

• Optimize: Enhance system performance and observability for large-scale computing environments, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to improve efficiency.

• Integrate: Support CI/CD processes, containerization, and deployment strategies using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

• Collaborate: Engage with cross-functional teams to identify technical challenges and develop innovative solutions that advance our AI infrastructure.

Who you are

• Academic Excellence: Final-year student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field at a leading French engineering school (e.g., École Polytechnique, Télécom Paris, CentraleSupélec, ENS).

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in programming languages such as Go and Python, with a strong understanding of backend development principles.

• System Savvy: Familiar with Linux environments, version control systems like Git, and containerization technologies including Docker.

• Cloud Knowledge: Experience or interest in cloud infrastructure and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Terraform.

• Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and propose effective solutions.

• Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
