Position Overview:
As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for executing high-impact sales strategies to expand market share, close enterprise AI deals, and scale revenue growth across RTM1 and RTM2. You will own the end-to-end sales process, working closely with technical, product, and marketing teams to deliver best-in-class AI compute solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & GTM Execution
- Lead go-to-market strategy for RTM2 (AI startups & direct AI buyers) with rapid deal cycles and expansion opportunities.
- Extend sales motions to RTM1 (OEMs & hyperscalers) and CSP-driven partnerships.
- Drive quota attainment, forecasting, and execution to exceed aggressive revenue targets.
- Own pipeline development, sales process optimization, and scalable revenue strategies.
Customer & Partner Engagement
- Build executive-level relationships with AI-first startups, CSPs, OEMs, and hyperscalers.
- Lead negotiations, deal structuring, and pricing for AI infrastructure solutions.
- Navigate multi-stakeholder enterprise deals, ensuring technical fit and commercial alignment.
Sales Leadership & Team Expansion
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing AI & compute sales team.
- Establish playbooks, enablement processes, and performance KPIs.
- Foster a metrics-driven sales culture with strong pipeline health and predictable outcomes.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning
- Deliver insights on startup needs, competitive landscape, and deal dynamics to shape GTM strategy.
- Partner with Product & Marketing to refine AI compute positioning with customer-driven feedback.
- Identify new revenue streams, expansion paths, and strategic alliances.
What You’ll Need:
Sales & Leadership Experience
- 10+ years in enterprise sales leadership, focused on AI, Compute, Cloud, or HPC markets.
- Track record closing multi-million-dollar deals with startups, hyperscalers, OEMs, or CSPs.
- Experience managing both direct and partner-driven sales motions.
Technical & Business Acumen
- Strong knowledge of AI training, inference, fine-tuning, and GPU/cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to engage both technical and business decision-makers, from engineers to C-suite.
- Hands-on expertise with AI workload sales, infrastructure procurement, and cloud/compute cycles.
Leadership & Collaboration Skills
- Proven success building and scaling high-performing sales organizations.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence strategic buyers and partners.
- Results-oriented mindset with enterprise execution discipline.
Preferred Background
- AI/Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.
- Experience in AI-first enterprises, compute providers, or CSP-driven sales.
- Deep relationships across the startup and hyperscaler ecosystems highly desirable.
First 90 Days – Key Deliverables
- Startup-Centric Sales Strategy – Define and launch GTM plan targeting AI startups and direct buyers.
- Pipeline Acceleration – Build and advance enterprise AI deals and partnerships with CSPs and hyperscalers.
- Team Growth & Enablement – Recruit and onboard top sales talent, instilling strong processes and KPIs.
- Executive & Partner Relationships – Strengthen ties with C-level decision-makers across the AI compute ecosystem.
What We Offer
- Competitive Compensation: $200,000 base salary, with OTE of $350,000 – $450,000.
